Hi! to all my readers - I have to confess that until recently I had never read any
Charles Dickens and being a Baby Boomer I thought it was high time I did. So
far I’ve read “Oliver Twist”, which was wonderful and I’m about to start “Great
Expectations”.
When I was at school I thought the classics were boring and
I don’t remember reading any. How wrong I was! Now that I write myself I can
see, even though I've only read one story of his, why Charles Dickens has endured . The
same goes for Jane Austen. I’ve read Pride and Prejudice and found it to be
excellent. The classics are now on my list of “books to read”.
